Why are your bulbs so expensive

The magic in our lights is the spectrum which is delivered by the combination of the bulb and the electronics. This is what makes the difference.

Unlike cheaper lights that are made in their millions, these are specialist bulbs with only 100 made a day. 

We use our own proprietary Daylight Wavelength Technology™ to mirror the daylight spectrum as closely as is technically possible. 

Our specialist purple LEDs and phosphors allow Serious Lights to correctly balance the hard-to-replicate colours and project the full natural light spectrum. They’re also designed to avoid the blue spike which dominate many indoor lights, increase eye strain, and affect sleeping patterns.
