How do I schedule a collection with DHL Overnight?

You can contact us on, freephone 0800 028 1890 or via hotline@seriousreaders.com and we will arrange a date to suit you. 


Can I choose a specific time for collection?

You will receive a 1-hour estimated collection time slot via SMS text on the morning of the collection day.


How should I prepare my parcel for collection?

Please ensure your parcel is securely packaged and correctly labelled. DHL will bring a label to affix to the parcel. The returns label needs to be affixed over the existing address label on the outside of the box.


What if I need to reschedule or cancel a collection?

To reschedule or cancel a collection, contact us at least one working day before the collection date to let us know. We will need to re-arrange the collection date. 


Can I arrange a collection for a weekend or bank holiday?

DHL does not offer collections on weekends or bank holidays. DHL will collect between 8am - 7pm Monday - Friday. 


Do I need to be present for the collection?

You generally do not need to be present for the collection as long as your parcel is ready and accessible. If you have specific instructions or access requirements, please ensure these are communicated at the time of booking.


What if my collection doesn't happen on the scheduled date?

Please do not worry. Let us know and we will do our best to help you.  


Will DHL give me a receipt once my light has been collected?

No, DHL do not provide collection receipts but please do not worry, our team will monitor your collection to ensure it arrives back at our factory safely.
